Quicksilver Homes is a family run company with over thirty years experience in the construction industry, primarily in the North Yorkshire area.
Formerly known as Fulford Builders, the core of the business is based around house building in North Yorkshire, with the emphasis being on small individually styled developments in rural locations. Recent developments have seen us involved with the building of a range of homes, from two bedroom flats to five bedroom Iuxury residences.
At Quicksilver we strive to provide a bespoke service incorporating, wherever possible, the requirements of the client. On all developments early reservation would ensure input in the design of kitchens, bathrooms and internal layout, even down to the finer details such as positioning of radiators and electrical sockets. Also possible is adaption of the original design, changes of this nature involve revised architectural details and amended planning permission, all of which we co-ordinate.
All our sites are individually designed with attention to the street scene and with care that the houses sympathetically reflect local architectural styles. Our aim is to produce traditionally styled homes offering modern facilities.
Many of our homes feature traditional building materials lost in modern house building, such as timber floor boarding, timber sash windows, cast iron rainwater goods and low maintenance roof details without fascias and soffits.
